Four days and three lush nights accommodation at Gymea Eco Retreat Centre & Spa in your own king room

A spacious, flexible schedule with plenty of downtime so you can process what you’re learning and return home feeling like you’ve actually had a break

Daily ADHD-friendly guided meditation and mindfulness sessions

Daily sound bath sessions to calm your nervous system and help you get an amazing, deeply refreshing night’s sleep

Twice a day coaching to help you understand your self-talk, define and communicate your boundaries.

Group sessions to help you get clarity on the life you want and discover compassionate ways to create change, without the shame, stress and urgency

WHAT TO EXPECT

The format of the retreat

We’ve curated a program of integrated self-care, rest, connection, coaching, and guided journaling led by our experience as ADHD coaches, and women with ADHD. 

Our program balances plenty of downtime with opportunity to benefit from the shared experiences of other women who understand what it’s like to live with an ADHD brain.  

Your experience is unique to you. Making these self-discoveries in a safe and compassionate group setting can supercharge your insights and help you join the dots in a way that is just not possible on your own.

Pause and calm the noise

We’ll take care of you for a few days so you can learn how to feels to truly rest and recharge. You’ll experience a deep state of relaxation so you can then sink into the transformation available. Our ADHD brains can trick us into believing we can only relax once our to-do list is empty. You’ll learn the power of pausing so you can access your higher level thinking and creativity.

Articulate your boundaries and advocate for your needs

Identify supportive boundaries with yourself, your closest people and the rest of the world so you can keep the wheels of your life chugging with less stress. Learn how to prioritise and communicate what you need with kindness for yourself and the people you love.

Connect to what you truly want

We’ll invite you to suspend - even if for a moment! - the unchallenged expectations, harsh inner critic and perceived failures that drive your behaviour so you can define how you really want to feel in your life. You’ll discover and practise a different, more compassionate way to create change so you can feel more confident and resourceful when challenges pop up.

Understand your emotional experience

Learn how to respond to big emotions (central to the ADHD experience!) so you can ride the wave with less shame. Gain awareness of where big emotions show up in your life, and learn how to move forward with resilience and self-love so you can feel more confident and empowered.

Design simple you-shaped supports and routines

Identify the key areas of your life where you could use some better supports to grease the wheels of your life so you feel less overwhelmed. Learn how to get back on track when things get stressful so you can confidently move towards the things you truly want.

Sarah Hoff

Sarah Hoff is an accredited ADHD Coach and Professional Organiser with a passion for supporting neurodivergent people to design fulfilling, authentic lives.

Inspired by her own lived experience as a woman with a late diagnosis of ADHD, Sarah founded The ADHD Revolution to empower people to free themselves from the struggle and build the lives they deserve.

Sarah is passionate about teaching the importance of self-understanding, self-acceptance, and above all self-love as the foundation for positive change.

Liz Welshman

Liz is a certified ADHD coach and consultant partnering with adults and students sick of executive function challenges getting in the way of their brilliance.

Her practice is centred around helping smart but burned out professionals, frazzled caregivers and out-of-the-box thinkers reimagine their potential and work with their ADHD traits.

Her interest in ADHD began on a (flailing) search for “good enough” parenting strategies to help her son embrace his square-peggedness, and studied to become an ADHD coach via the ADD Coaching Academy in New York to help other people live peacefully with ADHD.

GYMEA Eco Retreat Centre and Healing Spa is positioned on 113 acres of secluded rainforest at the base of Mt Warning with stunning views of Wollumbin National Park in the Northern Rivers Region of New South Wales.

Your breakfast, lunch and dinner for your stay are taken care of so you can take a complete break from planning, shopping, chopping and cooking! You’ll indulge in a seriously yummy chef-designed plant-based menu, prepared onsite with organic and locally sourced ingredients.

~ The Spa ~

Included in your Retreat is a 2 hour healing and super relaxing hot and cold spa circuit. We'll lush about in the traditional swedish sauna, steam room, hydroptherapy plunge and magnesium pool.

FAQs

Gymea is just 40 minutes from Gold Coast Airport and 60 minutes from Byron Ballina airport. We’ve organised a transfer to pick you up from Gold Coast Airport at 12pm on Thursday and drop you back by 1:30pm on Sunday. 

You will not be picking at rabbit food. Not only is there an abundance of food with generous portions, all meals are designed to be balanced and fill you up. Most importantly, it tastes good! Even the staunchest meat eaters will be satisfied and surprised.

We get that this is an investment, so we’ve included an option to pay over 8 instalments to soften the blow.  (june Retreat) There’s an initial deposit of $560, and then 7 weekly payments of $280. (Octboer Retreat) The payment plan allows you to pay over 5 monthly instalments of $500. 

Absolutely not. Yes, this is a safe space of like-minded women, but we all have different comfort levels with this stuff. You can open up as much or as little as you like. Our experience as coaches is that immense power and relief comes with sharing some of your airing out your insights with people who get it. But this is your retreat, and you will never be pressured to say more than you’re comfortable with. 

We’re well aware of that ADHD paradox of craving connection with people like us, while desperately needing our own space. We’re the same! We’ve allowed for plenty of downtime and quiet. You’ll also have your own room to retreat to at any point. Also, you can join in as much or as little as you like. Need a break? We’re all adults here, and nothing is compulsory.
